Why are they $295?
Most of the price is labour. The pattern, the cutting, the sewing and the inspection all happen in Los Angeles, by people paid properly for the work.
Will the length work for me?
Every size is designed to a 26.5-inch length, cut for petite proportions.
Will the fit work for a petite frame in my size?
The rise and waistband are graded for petite proportions in every size. That means the fit is designed with petite proportions in mind throughout the size range.
What if they are not right for me?
Shipping is free in the US, except Alaska and Hawaii, and returns are free within 30 days. An exchange is offered first.
Can I trust what arrives?
Each pair is checked before it ships. If you have a question before or after ordering, a person answers every email.

About The Petite Standard
The Petite Standard is a petite-only clothing brand in the United States, started in 2026 by two Filipino petite women who immigrated from the Philippines, Elizabeth Cadag and Denise Chicano, who design timeless pieces cut for petite proportions.
Its first product is a pair of petite dress pants for work, designed to a 26.5-inch length at every size and made for petite proportions. They are cut and sewn in Los Angeles, in two colors, Espresso and Midnight.
