Privacy policy

The Petite Standard, a brand of Floe System LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy. This policy says what we collect when you visit thepetitestandard.co (the "Site"), buy from us, or send us your email on Instagram. It says how we use it. It says what choices you have.

Who we are

What we collect

  • Your email address. You give it to us when you join our email list, ask to be told when a product is ready, place an order, or ask for The Polished Petite Playbook in an Instagram message. Klaviyo runs our email.
  • Order and payment details. Your name, shipping address, billing address, what you ordered, and how you paid. Shopify Payments takes the payment. It handles cards and the Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay wallets. We never see or store your full card number.
  • How you use our Site. The pages and products you look at, and how you move through the Site. Klaviyo collects this so we can see what you are looking for and make the Site better.
  • Whether you open our emails. Klaviyo tells us if an email was opened and which links were clicked. We use that to send less and send better.
  • Reviews. If you leave a review, we collect what you write and any details you add. Judge.me runs our reviews.
  • Returns. If you start a return or exchange, we collect what we need to process it. Shopify runs our returns.
  • Survey answers. If you fill in one of our surveys, we collect your answers. They may include your height and your measurements. A survey service collects the answers for us. If you email us your measurements, we keep that email.
  • Ad pixels. We use the Meta Pixel and the TikTok pixel. Each one collects what you do on our Site so we can measure and run our ads. Meta and TikTok may each use that information on their other sites and services.
  • Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see how visitors find and use our Site. It uses cookies and similar tools. It collects the pages you visit, how long you stay, the device and browser you use, and a rough location from your IP address. Google processes that data for us and turns it into the reports we use to improve the Site. Google also uses it to maintain and improve its own services. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Instagram

You can ask for The Polished Petite Playbook by commenting on one of our posts or by sending us a message on Instagram. We then ask for your email inside that message. Meta runs Instagram and carries the message. Klaviyo stores the email you send, and sends you the Playbook and our emails. Sending your email this way joins you to our email list. You can leave at any time with the Unsubscribe link in any email.

How we use what we collect

  • To process your order and send you order and shipping updates.
  • To process returns, exchanges, and refunds.
  • To send you The Polished Petite Playbook and our marketing emails, if you joined our list. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
  • To learn how people use our Site so we can improve it.
  • To measure and run our advertising.
  • To design better products, using survey answers and measurements you choose to share.
  • To protect against fraud and keep the Site secure.
  • To follow the law.

Who we share it with

We never take money for your personal information. Some of the ad and analytics tools we use may still count as a "sale" or "sharing" under California law, even though no money changes hands. Those tools are the Meta Pixel, the TikTok pixel, and Google Analytics. Your choices are in the California section below. We share your information only in these ways:

  • The services that run our store. Shopify (store, payments, and returns), Klaviyo (email and Site activity), Judge.me (reviews), Google (analytics), our survey service, Meta (Instagram messages), FedEx (shipping), and the Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay wallets, which run through Shopify Payments. Each one may use your information only to do its job for us.
  • Ad partners. The Meta Pixel and the TikTok pixel send what you do on our Site to Meta and TikTok. They use it to measure and show our ads.
  • Legal and safety. We may share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.

Cookies and Do Not Track

Our Site uses cookies and similar technology to keep the store working, remember your cart, understand how the Site is used, and support advertising. You can control cookies in your browser settings. Turning some off may affect how the Site works.

Do Not Track. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is not yet a common industry standard for responding to these signals, our Site does not currently respond to them.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under California privacy law, including the right to know what personal information we collect, to request a copy, correction, or deletion of it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. Because we use advertising and analytics tools like the Meta Pixel, the TikTok pixel, and Google Analytics, some of your information may be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" under California law, even when no money changes hands.

You can opt out at any time using the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in the footer of our Site. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal automatically. To make any other request, email us at hello@thepetitestandard.co with "California privacy request" in the subject line, and we will honor it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

How long we keep it

We keep your information as long as we need it to serve you. We also keep it as long as tax and other laws require, and to settle disputes and enforce our agreements.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information. We also rely on the security of providers such as Shopify and Klaviyo. No way of sending information over the internet is fully secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Children

Our Site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we change the effective date at the top and post the new version on this page.
