Our story

Built by two women who couldn’t find them either.

For Petite. By Petite. Not a slogan. The reason the dress pant exists.

The origin

A lifetime of hemming.

Liz stands 4 feet 11 inches. Denise stands 5 feet 2 inches. Between them, decades of the same routine: buy the dress pants, book the tailor, lose the length, wait, and settle. The line was never quite right, because the pant was never built for their height in the first place.

So they stopped waiting for someone else to make it. They set one length, 26.5 inches, and recut the whole dress pant around petite proportion. What began as their own problem became the standard they wanted to wear.

What we made and why

One standard, held to.

We make one dress pant, cut for petite proportion. Not a taller pant shrunk down. Length, rise, and line, all redrawn for the way a petite body is actually proportioned.

Petite isn’t a smaller size. It’s a different design.

The heritage

The winged mark is an alate.

Our mark carries the brand’s Filipino heritage and the lines of Baybayin.

Cut and Sewn in Los Angeles. Inspected Before It Ships.

Made in USA of imported fabric. Every pair is cut and sewn in Los Angeles, in small runs, with the making kept close so the craft and the price make sense together.
