Terms of service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") cover your use of thepetitestandard.co (the "Site") and any order you place on it. The Petite Standard, a brand of Floe System LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), runs the Site. When you use the Site or place an order, you agree to these Terms.

Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. When you order, you confirm that you are old enough and that the details you give us are true.

Products, prices, and availability

  • Every price on the Site is in US dollars, wherever your order ships.
  • If you pay in another currency, your bank sets the exchange rate.
  • We add sales tax at checkout where the law requires us to collect it.
  • We may change our products, prices, and availability at any time.
  • We work to keep descriptions, colors, and prices accurate. We do not promise that every detail is free of error.
  • If a product is listed at the wrong price, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund.
  • We do not sell subscriptions, so there is no recurring charge and no auto-renewal.

Orders and payment

When you place an order, you are offering to buy the product at the listed price. We charge you at checkout. We take payment through Shopify Payments. It handles cards and the Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay wallets.

We may refuse or cancel an order. Reasons include suspected fraud, a price or listing error, or a product that is out of stock. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund the full amount to your original payment method within one billing cycle.

We accept payment only through the checkout on our Site, or a secure checkout link we email you from an @thepetitestandard.co address. We do not accept checks, wire transfers, or payment screenshots, and we do not send money back to a different account to cover an overpayment.

We may decline future orders from anyone who misuses our Return and Refund Policy, for example by sending back a product we did not ship, an empty box, or worn products more than once. This does not affect a return or refund we already owe under this policy, or any right the law gives you.

International orders

If your order ships outside the United States, you are the importer of record. Your country may charge duties, taxes, or customs fees when the parcel arrives. The customer pays those. They are not part of our price or our shipping charge. We may cancel and fully refund an order to a country or address that FedEx or US export rules do not let us ship to.

Shipping

  • Shipping is free inside the United States, except Alaska and Hawaii.
  • Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and other countries ship with FedEx. The customer pays the shipping at checkout.
  • Our shipping for the first run does not cover US territories or military addresses.
  • Delivery times are in our Shipping Policy, which is part of these Terms.
  • The Shipping Policy also covers your right to cancel an order that cannot ship inside the stated window.

Returns and refunds

Our Return and Refund Policy is part of these Terms. It covers the return window, the condition the product must be in, where returns are free, where returns are not available, and how refunds are paid.

Our content

All content on the Site belongs to Floe System LLC or its licensors, and the law protects it. That includes text, images, graphics, logos, and design. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content or brand marks without our written permission.

Reviews and content you send us

If you post a review or send us other content, you keep ownership of it. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, show, and share it with our products and marketing. You are responsible for what you send. You agree that it is true, that it is your own, and that it does not break anyone's rights.

We never offer a refund, a gift, or a payment in exchange for a review, or for changing or removing one. A refund or return is always handled under our Return and Refund Policy, whatever a review says.

Using the Site

You agree to use the Site lawfully. You will not interfere with how it works, try to get in without permission, or use it to harm anyone.

Disclaimer of warranties

We provide the Site and its content on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties as to the Site itself, including any warranty that it will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Nothing in these Terms disclaims, limits, or waives any warranty, right, or remedy you have that cannot be disclaimed, limited, or waived under California law. That includes the implied warranty of merchantability under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, and your rights under the Consumers Legal Remedies Act.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Floe System LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our products. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product.

This section does not limit any liability that cannot be limited under California law, including liability for fraud, willful injury, or a violation of law. It also does not limit or waive any right or remedy you have under the Consumers Legal Remedies Act or the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Floe System LLC from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

Governing law and disputes

The laws of the State of California govern these Terms, without regard to California's conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Bernardino County, California. You and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section limits any right you have to bring a claim in small claims court, or any right or remedy that cannot be waived under California law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we change the effective date at the top. If you keep using the Site after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
